Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPX (polyphosphate-accumulating protein) is a significant area of research due to its role in various biological processes and potential applications in biotechnology. Polyphosphate, a linear polymer of inorganic phosphates, is involved in diverse cellular functions such as energy metabolism, stress response, and regulation of gene expression. The protein PPX is essential for controlling polyphosphate levels in cells, impacting processes like biofilm formation and bacterial virulence. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of PPX in microbial ecology and its potential use in bioremediation and wastewater treatment, where manipulating polyphosphate metabolism can enhance phosphate removal efficiency. Additionally, understanding PPX's structure and function can lead to innovations in developing biotechnological applications, including bioengineered organisms for industrial processes. This growing interest in PPX research not only addresses fundamental questions about cellular metabolism but also paves the way for practical solutions to environmental challenges. As researchers delve deeper into the mechanisms underlying PPX's function, the potential for groundbreaking discoveries and applications in various fields continues to expand, making it a vital focus in contemporary biological research.
