Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD151 is a tetraspanin protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. It is predominantly expressed in various tissues, including endothelial cells and platelets, and is known to participate in the regulation of integrin function, impacting cellular interactions with the extracellular matrix. Dysregulation of CD151 expression has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cancer metastasis and chronic inflammatory diseases. Due to its involvement in these critical biological processes, CD151 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target for drug development. Research on recombinant CD151 protein has gained momentum, focusing on understanding its structural characteristics, functional mechanisms, and interactions with other cell surface proteins. By producing recombinant CD151 in various expression systems, researchers aim to generate purified protein for functional assays and structural studies, providing insights into its role in tumor progression and immune response. This research not only enhances our comprehension of CD151's biological functions but also opens avenues for the development of targeted therapies that could inhibit its pathological roles, thereby offering potential clinical applications in treating diseases where CD151 is implicated.
