Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RuvA is a key protein implicated in the homologous recombination repair pathway, which is crucial for maintaining genomic stability in various organisms. It plays an essential role in the resolution of Holliday junctions, which are intermediates formed during DNA repair and genetic recombination. Research on RuvA has gained significant attention due to its involvement in the repair mechanisms of bacterial species like Escherichia coli, where it acts as a helicase to facilitate the resolution of these junctions in cooperation with other proteins, such as RuvB and RuvC. The study of RuvA not only enhances our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying genetic recombination but also has implications for antibiotic resistance and the development of novel therapeutic strategies. Recombinant RuvA proteins, produced in various expression systems, are used for biophysical and biochemical characterization to elucidate their functions and interactions. Furthermore, studying RuvA in conjunction with other proteins involved in DNA repair pathways could uncover new insights into the evolution of these systems and their diverse roles in cellular processes. Overall, the research on RuvA and its related proteins is vital for understanding fundamental biological processes and for the potential development of targeted interventions in the context of genomic stability and disease.
