  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RHPN1, or Rhophilin Rho GTPase-binding protein 1, is a member of the rhophilin protein family, which is known to interact with Rho GTPases, a group of signaling molecules that regulate various cellular processes including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell motility, and proliferation. The protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by modulating the Rho GTPase activity, particularly in the context of synaptic functions and neuronal development. Research has indicated that dysregulation of RHPN1 may be linked to several pathological conditions, including neurological disorders and cancer. The study of RHPN1 recombinant protein has garnered attention as it provides insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions within cells. By producing and characterizing RHPN1 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structural properties and binding affinities with Rho GTPases, thus paving the way for potential therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, the exploration of RHPN1's role in cellular signaling and its implications in disease models could lead to novel approaches in treating conditions associated with Rho GTPase dysregulation. This includes the need to better understand its mechanisms in order to potentially target these pathways for therapeutic gain, making RHPN1 a protein of significant interest in biomedical research.
