Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WFIKKN2 (WAP four-disulfide core domain 2) is a protein that belongs to the WFIKKN family, which is characterized by the presence of WAP (whey acidic protein) domains. This protein has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various biological processes, including immune regulation, cell proliferation, and tissue remodeling. Studies have indicated that WFIKKN2 may be involved in the modulation of extracellular matrix components, thereby influencing cellular interactions and tissue homeostasis. Additionally, dysregulation of WFIKKN2 expression has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and fibrotic disorders, suggesting its role as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of WFIKKN2 is essential for understanding its functional properties, enabling researchers to explore its structural characteristics and interactions with other biomolecules. This research can provide insights into its mechanistic pathways and potential implications in health and disease. Consequently, the study of WFIKKN2 and its recombinant forms holds promise for uncovering novel therapeutic strategies and advancing our understanding of complex biological systems.
