Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CBX6, a member of the chromobox family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of gene expression and chromatin structure. It is known for its involvement in the formation of heterochromatin and its ability to bind to histone methylation marks, thereby influencing transcriptional repression. Research has shown that CBX6 participates in various cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, DNA repair, and differentiation. Aberrant expression of CBX6 has been linked to several diseases, including cancers, where it may contribute to the silencing of tumor suppressor genes. The study of recombinant CBX6 protein has gained attention as it allows for the exploration of its biochemical properties and functional mechanisms in a controlled environment. By producing and analyzing this protein, researchers aim to uncover its interactions with other chromatin-associated proteins and elucidate its role in epigenetic regulation. Understanding the functional dynamics of CBX6 could provide insights into its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by epigenetic misregulation. As such, the development of recombinant CBX6 proteins not only facilitates basic research but may also pave the way for novel strategies in epigenetic therapies.
