Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CAPN13, a member of the calpain family of cysteine proteases, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell motility, differentiation, and apoptosis. Alterations in CAPN13 expression have been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Understanding the functional mechanisms of CAPN13 is vital for elucidating its contributions to disease progression and for developing potential therapeutic strategies. Recent studies have indicated that CAPN13 may influence cellular signaling pathways and cytoskeletal dynamics, further highlighting its importance in the regulation of cell behavior. The recombinant expression of CAPN13 is essential for investigating its biochemical properties, substrate interactions, and the molecular mechanisms by which it mediates its effects within the cell. By producing and characterizing CAPN13 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to gain insights into its structural features and enzymatic activities, which could reveal potential targets for drug development. Overall, the investigation of CAPN13 and its recombinant forms represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of cell biology and disease mechanisms.
