Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RECQL5 is a member of the RecQ helicase family, which is crucial for maintaining genomic stability. This family of enzymes plays significant roles in DNA replication, repair, and recombination processes. Abnormalities in RecQ helicases are linked to various genetic disorders, including cancer predisposition syndromes such as Bloom syndrome and Werner syndrome, highlighting their importance in safeguarding the integrity of the genome. RECQL5, in particular, has been implicated in the regulation of transcription and the DNA damage response, making it a vital player in ensuring the proper functioning of cellular processes. Research on RECQL5 recombinant proteins focuses on understanding its specific biochemical activities, interactions with DNA and RNA, and its regulatory mechanisms within the cell. Investigating the structural and functional characteristics of RECQL5 can provide insights into its role in disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets. As the field of molecular biology progresses, employing recombinant protein technology enables the exploration of RECQL5’s properties, facilitating advancements in both fundamental research and the development of clinical applications. Understanding RECQL5's function and regulation at the molecular level is essential for developing strategies to combat diseases associated with genomic instability.
