Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the plcA gene, particularly its role in producing recombinant proteins, has significant implications in the fields of biotechnology and molecular biology. PlcA, or phospholipase C, is an enzyme that hydrolyzes phospholipids, leading to the generation of inositol phosphates and diacylglycerol, which are pivotal in cellular signaling pathways. Understanding plcA has gained traction due to its potential applications in therapeutics and industrial processes. The recombinant expression of plcA allows for the production of large quantities of the protein, facilitating detailed biochemical characterization and functional studies. This is critical for exploring its enzymatic properties, substrate specificity, and potential biotechnological applications, such as the development of novel biosensors or therapeutic agents targeting phospholipid-mediated signaling. Furthermore, the manipulation of the plcA gene aids in investigating its role in various biological processes, including microbial virulence and host-pathogen interactions. As researchers delve into the structural and functional aspects of plcA, insights gained can contribute to advances in synthetic biology and enzyme engineering, thus highlighting the importance of plcA recombinant protein research in both fundamental and applied sciences.
