Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C9orf58, also known as "chromosome 9 open reading frame 58," is a relatively novel gene that has garnered attention in the field of molecular biology due to its potential role in various cellular processes and human diseases. Initially identified through genomic studies, C9orf58 is located on chromosome 9 and encodes a protein whose precise function remains largely unexplored. Recent research has indicated that C9orf58 may be implicated in neurodegenerative conditions, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD), where pathogenic mutations in related genes have been linked to disease progression. The study of C9orf58 recombinant protein is crucial for elucidating its biological function and understanding the mechanisms by which it may contribute to disease pathology. By expressing and purifying the C9orf58 protein, researchers aim to investigate its structural properties, interaction with other cellular components, and potential impact on neural health. Furthermore, the recombinant protein can serve as a valuable tool in developing diagnostic or therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with its dysregulation. As interest in C9orf58 continues to grow, ongoing studies are expected to provide insights into its role in cellular homeostasis and its potential as a target for future therapeutic interventions.
