Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C9orf52, a gene located on chromosome 9, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its association with neurodegenerative diseases, particularly the spectrum of frontotemporal dementia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Mutations and expansions in the C9orf72 gene, which is often confused due to its proximity to C9orf52, are well-documented contributors to these conditions. However, the functional role of C9orf52 itself remains largely unexplored. Recent studies have indicated that C9orf52 may play a crucial role in cellular processes, including protein translation and stress response mechanisms, thereby impacting neuronal health. Understanding the recombinant protein of C9orf52 can provide insights into its biological functions and potential interactions with other proteins implicated in neurodegeneration. This research aims to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of C9orf52, paving the way for potential therapeutic strategies targeting neurodegenerative diseases linked to C9orf72. By employing advanced techniques in molecular biology and protein engineering, scientists hope to better understand the implications of C9orf52 in disease pathology, ultimately contributing to the development of intervention strategies that could mitigate the devastating effects of these neurodegenerative disorders.
