Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C6 recombinant protein has emerged as a significant focus of research in the field of molecular biology and biomedicine, particularly due to its potential applications in therapeutic development and vaccine design. Originally derived from the C6 protein of the Lyme disease-causing bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, C6 is a highly specific antigen that is involved in the immune response to infection. The study of C6 recombinant protein is particularly important for enhancing diagnostic tests for Lyme disease, as it has been shown to generate a robust immune response in infected individuals, allowing for better differentiation between active and previous infections. Furthermore, the production of C6 in a recombinant form allows for large-scale generation of the protein, facilitating various experimental applications, including functional assays and structural studies. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled researchers to modify and optimize C6, potentially improving its immunogenic properties for use in vaccines. Moreover, the exploration of C6's role in the host-pathogen interaction provides insights into the mechanisms of Lyme disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies. As the understanding of Lyme disease and its associated complications continues to evolve, research on C6 recombinant protein represents a critical intersection of microbiology, immunology, and clinical science, offering hope for improved diagnostics and vaccines against this pervasive zoonotic infection.
