Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RBM5 (RNA-binding protein 5) is a member of the RNA-binding protein family known to play a crucial role in various biological processes, including RNA processing, splicing, and regulation of gene expression. Alterations in RBM5 expression or function have been implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer, as it can influence tumorigenesis through its effects on alternative splicing and mRNA stability. Recent studies have identified RBM5 as a potential tumor suppressor, with its downregulation linked to poor prognosis in several cancers, including lung and prostate cancer. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying RBM5's function and interactions is pivotal, particularly in the context of its role in splicing regulation and the development of therapeutic strategies. The recombinant expression of RBM5 allows for detailed examination of its structural and functional attributes, facilitating the exploration of its interaction with other cellular components and RNA molecules. This research is essential for elucidating RBM5's contributions to cellular homeostasis and its potential as a target for therapeutic intervention in malignancies associated with its dysregulation.
