Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G2D, a member of the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. This enzyme is primarily expressed in immune and glandular tissues, suggesting its involvement in inflammation and immune response modulation. Research indicates that PLA2G2D plays a crucial role in the metabolism of phospholipids, which are essential components of cell membranes and are involved in the release of fatty acids and lysolipids, components known to influence cell signaling pathways. Dysregulation of PLA2G2D has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where it may affect tumor progression and metastatic behavior. Additionally, its interplay with immune cells highlights its relevance in autoimmune disorders and chronic inflammatory diseases. The recombinant expression of PLA2G2D provides a valuable tool for elucidating its biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and potential interactions with other biomolecules. Such studies can pave the way for understanding its functional implications in health and disease, as well as exploring its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker in clinical settings. Overall, the ongoing research on recombinant PLA2G2D aims to unlock the complexities of its biological roles and establish its significance in translational medicine.
