Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of ubiC recombinant proteins has garnered significant attention due to their critical role in the biosynthesis of ubiquinone (coenzyme Q), an essential component found in the electron transport chain of mitochondria. Ubiquinone serves as a vital electron carrier, facilitating cellular respiration and energy production in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms. The ubiC gene encodes the enzyme 3-exo-5-diphosphoryl-2,3-dihydrobenzoate decarboxylase, which catalyzes a key step in the ubiquinone biosynthetic pathway. Understanding the structure and function of ubiC recombinant proteins can provide insights into metabolic processes, the regulation of cellular redox states, and potential therapeutic applications in metabolic disorders. Moreover, the ability to produce ubiC proteins in recombinant systems allows for the exploration of enzyme kinetics and substrate specificity, which are essential for developing biotechnological applications, such as bioenergy production and supplement formulations. Research on ubiC recombinant proteins not only enhances our comprehension of fundamental biochemical pathways but also holds potential for novel interventions in health and disease management related to mitochondrial dysfunctions.
