Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RBBP8, or Retinoblastoma Binding Protein 8, is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, including DNA repair, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis. It plays a significant role in the maintenance of genomic stability by interacting with several key proteins in the DNA damage response pathway, such as BRCA1 and RAD51. Research has shown that RBBP8 functions as a cofactor in the recruitment of repair proteins to sites of DNA damage, thereby facilitating effective repair mechanisms. Dysregulation of RBBP8 has been linked to various cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. The recombinant expression of RBBP8 allows for a detailed study of its structure-function relationships, interactions with other proteins, and its role in oncogenic processes. Understanding RBBP8's function at a molecular level is essential for elucidating its contribution to tumorigenesis and could lead to the development of novel cancer treatments. Researchers are particularly interested in the effects of post-translational modifications on RBBP8's activity and its potential as a biomarker for cancer diagnosis or prognosis. As such, the study of RBBP8 through recombinant protein techniques could provide valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms of cancer biology and promote the development of targeted therapies.
