Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RBBP5, or Retinoblastoma Binding Protein 5, is a crucial component of various multiprotein complexes involved in chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation. Its primary role is to facilitate the assembly of the histone methyltransferase complexes, particularly in modifying histone H3 at lysine 4, which is associated with active transcription. Given its involvement in key cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation and differentiation, RBBP5 has garnered attention in cancer research, as alterations in its expression or function can contribute to tumorigenesis. The study of recombinant RBBP5 protein allows for a deeper understanding of its biochemical properties and interactions with other cellular proteins. These investigations are vital for elucidating the mechanisms by which RBBP5 influences gene expression and cellular function, potentially leading to novel therapeutic strategies for cancer and other diseases where chromatin dysregulation is a contributing factor. Recombinant protein studies also pave the way for high-throughput screening of small molecules that may target RBBP5's activity, highlighting its significance in drug development and precision medicine approaches. Through these efforts, researchers aim to harness the potential of RBBP5 as a biomarker and therapeutic target in oncology.
