Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RASSF1, a member of the RASSF (Ras-association domain family) protein family, plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell cycle progression, and tumor suppression. Research indicates that RASSF1 is frequently silenced in various cancers due to epigenetic changes, particularly in breast, lung, and colon cancers. This loss of function is associated with enhanced cell proliferation and reduced apoptosis, highlighting its significance as a tumor suppressor gene. The protein is known to interact with key signaling pathways, including the Hippo pathway, which is essential for organ size regulation and cancer prevention. Studying the role of RASSF1 in cancer biology not only enhances our understanding of tumorigenesis but also presents potential therapeutic avenues, such as reinstating its function or targeting pathways affected by its loss. Moreover, exploring RASSF1's interactions and mechanisms within the cell may unveil novel biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, emphasizing the importance of RASSF1 in both fundamental research and clinical applications in oncology.
