Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C8orf41, also known as Chromosome 8 Open Reading Frame 41, has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in various biological processes and diseases. Located on chromosome 8, this gene encodes a protein that is thought to be involved in cellular mechanisms such as signaling pathways, gene regulation, and possibly mitochondrial function. Initial studies suggest that alterations in C8orf41 expression may be linked to certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. However, the functional characterization of C8orf41 remains limited, underscoring the need for further research. Recombinant protein studies of C8orf41 are essential for elucidating its biological function, understanding its interactions with other proteins, and exploring its involvement in disease pathways. Producing a recombinant form of the C8orf41 protein allows researchers to investigate its structure, activity, and potential modulating effects in cellular models. This foundational research could facilitate the development of targeted therapies and provide insights into the molecular underpinnings of diseases associated with this gene. Moreover, the increased availability of recombinant C8orf41 may advance studies in protein-protein interactions and contribute to the broader understanding of chromosomal genetic functions. Overall, the investigation of C8orf41 recombinant protein is a promising avenue for unraveling its significance in human health and disease.
