Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IFM1, or Intermediate Filament Protein 1, is a member of the intermediate filament protein family, which plays a crucial role in the structural integrity and resilience of cells, particularly in response to mechanical stress. Research on IFM1 has gained importance due to its potential implications in various cellular processes, including cell motility, differentiation, and apoptosis. Abnormal expression of IFM1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the necessity for a comprehensive understanding of its function and regulatory mechanisms. Recent studies have focused on the molecular pathways involving IFM1, exploring its interactions with other cytoskeletal components and its role in the cellular response to environmental stressors. Understanding the structure and function of IFM1 at the molecular level is essential for unraveling its contributions to cellular architecture and pathology, potentially leading to novel therapeutic targets for diseases characterized by cytoskeletal dysfunctions. Advances in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and purification of IFM1, allowing researchers to investigate its properties and interactions in a controlled environment. This ongoing research aims to elucidate the multifaceted roles of IFM1 in both healthy and diseased states, contributing to the broader field of cytoskeletal research and offering insights into potential interventions for related health issues.
