Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Ly6G recombinant protein plays a significant role in immunology, primarily due to its specific expression on neutrophils, a key component of the innate immune response. Understanding the function and characteristics of Ly6G is crucial, as neutrophils are essential for the body’s defense against infections and play a pivotal role in inflammation and tissue damage during various diseases. Research has uncovered that Ly6G can act as a marker for neutrophil identification and isolation, facilitating studies on their behavior and interactions in different pathological conditions. Moreover, Ly6G's involvement in modulating immune responses has made it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions, especially in inflammatory diseases and cancer. The recombinant production of Ly6G allows for detailed investigations into its structure-function relationships, enabling scientists to explore how this glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein influences neutrophil activation and migration. Furthermore, using Ly6G recombinant proteins in experimental models can help elucidate its role in both the interplay of innate and adaptive immunity and the mechanisms underlying neutrophil-mediated tissue damage. Given its significance, the ongoing research efforts surrounding Ly6G are expected to yield insights that could translate into novel strategies for treating immune-related disorders and enhancing therapeutic approaches in clinical settings.
