  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

IAA17, a key member of the Auxin/Indole-3-Acetic Acid (AUX/IAA) protein family, plays a critical role in plant hormone signaling, specifically in auxin regulation. Auxin is a pivotal plant growth regulator that influences various developmental processes, including cell elongation, root and shoot development, and responses to environmental stimuli. The IAA17 protein, like other AUX/IAA proteins, acts as a transcriptional repressor by interacting with Auxin Response Factors (ARFs), thereby modulating gene expression in response to auxin levels. Research has demonstrated that IAA17 is instrumental during critical developmental stages, such as lateral root formation and floral organ development. Mutations and alterations in IAA17 expression have been linked to aberrant growth patterns, highlighting its importance in maintaining proper auxin homeostasis. Furthermore, understanding the molecular mechanisms underpinning IAA17 function can provide insights into the complex signaling networks that govern plant responses to both biotic and abiotic stresses. Consequently, the study of IAA17 and its regulatory pathways holds potential for agricultural applications, particularly in enhancing crop resilience and optimizing growth conditions.
