Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZP3, or zona pellucida glycoprotein 3, is a crucial protein involved in the fertilization process in mammals. It is a component of the zona pellucida, the glycoprotein membrane surrounding oocytes, and plays a significant role in sperm-egg recognition and binding. Research on recombinant ZP3 proteins has gained momentum due to their potential applications in reproductive biotechnology, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and contraceptive development. The interest in ZP3 is further fueled by its immunological properties, as it can elicit specific antibody responses that may be leveraged for immunocontraceptive strategies. Additionally, studying the structure and function of ZP3 can provide insights into the mechanisms of fertilization and potential reproductive disorders. As a recombinant protein, ZP3 can be produced in various expression systems, enabling the detailed investigation of its functional characteristics and interactions with sperm. Overall, the study of ZP3 recombinant proteins is significant for advancements in reproductive biology, fertility treatments, and the development of novel contraceptive methods.
