Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RABGAP1, a member of the RAB GTPase-activating protein family, plays a crucial role in the regulation of membrane trafficking and cell signaling processes. It functions by promoting the hydrolysis of GTP bound to RAB proteins, thus switching RABs from an active to an inactive state. This activity is essential for maintaining cellular organization and regulating various physiological processes, including neuron development, immune responses, and cell migration. Dysregulation of RABGAP1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of RABGAP1 to better understand its role in cellular mechanisms. The development of recombinant RABGAP1 protein has allowed researchers to investigate its interactions with RAB proteins and other cellular partners in a controlled environment. Understanding the molecular basis of RABGAP1 function can provide insights into its contributions to normal cellular functions and its implications in disease, paving the way for potential drug development strategies targeting RAB signaling pathways.
