Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GRK2 (G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2) is a crucial enzyme in the regulation of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which play vital roles in various physiological processes and signal transduction pathways. Dysregulation of GRK2 is implicated in several diseases, including heart failure, cancer, and neurological disorders. The study of GRK2 and its recombinant protein is essential for understanding its functional mechanisms and interactions with GPCRs, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant GRK2 can be produced using various expression systems, enabling researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, structural characteristics, and modulation by different compounds. This research could lead to the development of novel drugs aimed at regulating GRK2 activity, providing new avenues for treating diseases linked to GPCR dysfunction. Moreover, GRK2’s role in desensitization and resensitization of GPCRs presents opportunities for designing targeted therapies that enhance or inhibit specific signaling pathways. Overall, the study of GRK2 recombinant protein represents a promising field of research with significant implications for drug discovery and development, ultimately contributing to better therapeutic strategies for various diseases.
