Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PSG4, or Pregnancy-Specific Glycoprotein 4, belongs to a family of glycoproteins primarily expressed by trophoblast cells during pregnancy. Its structure and function have garnered significant interest due to its involvement in maternal-fetal interactions, immune modulation, and potential implications in various reproductive disorders. Research has shown that PSG4 plays a role in enhancing trophoblast invasion and modulating the maternal immune response to prevent fetal rejection, thereby contributing to successful pregnancy outcomes. Given its unique expression pattern and potential functions, PSG4 has been investigated as a biomarker for complications such as preeclampsia and fetal growth restrictions. Additionally, its involvement in angiogenesis and placental development positions PSG4 as a prospective target for therapeutic interventions in pregnancy-related conditions. The study of PSG4 is increasingly relevant as its implications extend beyond reproductive health, suggesting potential roles in cancer biology and other chronic diseases, where similar glycoproteins may impact immune evasion and cellular interactions. As researchers delve deeper into the molecular mechanisms underlying PSG4's functions, its significance in both obstetrics and broader biomedical contexts continues to evolve, paving the way for innovative diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
