Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C17orf28, also known as chromosome 17 open reading frame 28, is a gene of interest due to its potential implications in various biological processes and diseases. Situated on chromosome 17, this gene encodes a protein whose precise function remains largely elusive. Recent studies have suggested that C17orf28 may be involved in cellular signaling pathways and could play a role in developmental processes. Given its location in a genomic region associated with several disorders, including certain types of cancer and congenital anomalies, understanding the function of C17orf28 is crucial for deciphering the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. Recombinant protein studies of C17orf28 aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, thereby providing insights into its role in health and disease. Producing this protein in a recombinant form allows researchers to conduct detailed biochemical assays and explore its interactions with other cellular components. Such studies could ultimately contribute to the development of targeted therapies and biomarkers for conditions associated with dysregulation of C17orf28. As the field of genetics and molecular biology continues to evolve, the investigation of lesser-known proteins like C17orf28 will be instrumental in broadening our understanding of human biology and disease manifestation.
