Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Lgals6, also known as Galectin-6, is a member of the galectin family of proteins, characterized by their ability to bind β-galactosides and play crucial roles in various biological processes. The study of Lgals6 has garnered attention due to its involvement in cell adhesion, proliferation, and apoptosis, as well as its potential implications in immune response and cancer progression. Initially identified in the context of inflammation and immune modulation, research has shown that Lgals6 can influence the tumor microenvironment, facilitating tumor growth and metastasis. Moreover, it has been linked to several pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and fibrotic disorders. The recombinant expression of Lgals6 provides an opportunity for detailed biochemical and functional studies, enabling researchers to explore its structure-function relationships and elucidate its role in disease mechanisms. Understanding Lgals6's pathways and interactions at a molecular level may offer new therapeutic targets, particularly in cancer immunotherapy and treatments for chronic inflammatory conditions. As research continues to unfold, the significance of Lgals6 in both health and disease remains an active area of investigation, highlighting the need for further studies utilizing recombinant proteins to expand our knowledge of its diverse biological functions.
