Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast Growth Factor 8B (FGF8B) is part of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and embryonic development. The interest in FGF8B has significantly increased due to its involvement in important physiological and pathological processes, such as angiogenesis, wound healing, and the development of certain cancers. Research has demonstrated that FGF8B exerts its effects by signaling through the FGF receptors, activating downstream pathways that are pivotal for cellular functions. Furthermore, aberrations in FGF signaling are associated with various developmental disorders and tumorigenesis, making FGF8B a potential target for therapeutic intervention. The generation and characterization of recombinant FGF8B protein offers valuable insights into its biological functions and mechanisms of action, facilitating the study of its role in health and disease. Additionally, as a result of its potential applications in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, the investigation of FGF8B has broad implications for developing novel therapeutic strategies. Thus, ongoing research on recombinant FGF8B not only contributes to the understanding of its biological significance but also paves the way for its application in clinical settings.
