Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCN2, also known as connective tissue growth factor (CTGF), is a matricellular protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and extracellular matrix (ECM) regulation. Its dysregulation has been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as fibrosis, atherosclerosis, and cancer. Research on CCN2 recombinant protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic applications. Scientists are particularly interested in understanding how CCN2 mediates cellular signaling pathways and its interactions with other ECM components. The production of recombinant CCN2 allows for detailed studies of its structure-function relationships and the mechanisms by which it influences cellular behaviors. Furthermore, CCN2's role in tissue repair and regeneration has prompted investigations into its possible use as a biomarker and therapeutic agent in fibrotic diseases and wound healing. As the understanding of CCN2's functions deepens, the development of CCN2-based therapies presents exciting prospects for addressing various fibrotic and degenerative disorders, highlighting the importance of continued research in this area.
