Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LACTB2, also known as Lactamase Beta 2, is a protein that has garnered considerable interest in recent years due to its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. It is a member of the larger lactamase enzyme family, which is primarily known for its function in antibiotic resistance; however, LACTB2's involvement extends beyond this activity. Recent studies suggest that LACTB2 plays a significant role in regulating cellular metabolism, apoptosis, and proliferation, making it a critical factor in cancer biology and other pathological conditions. Its expression has been linked to various cancers, where altered levels of LACTB2 may influence tumor growth and response to therapies. Furthermore, as a mitochondrial protein, LACTB2 is implicated in maintaining mitochondrial function and homeostasis, adding another layer of complexity to its biological significance. Investigating the structure and function of recombinant LACTB2 can provide valuable insights into its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. This research not only enhances our understanding of LACTB2's biological roles but also opens up new avenues for therapeutic interventions in diseases where LACTB2 is dysregulated. As a result, recombinant LACTB2 serves as a crucial target for ongoing studies aimed at elucidating its full range of functions and potential applications in biomedical research.
