Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CLTCL1, or Clathrin-AP180-Tyr-Recognizing Protein 1, is a member of the clathrin light chain family, playing a crucial role in the endocytosis and intracellular trafficking of membrane proteins. Its involvement in synaptic vesicle recycling highlights its significance in neuronal function and has implications in neurodegenerative disorders. Additionally, CLTCL1 has been linked to various cellular processes, including cell signaling and cytoskeletal organization, making it a target of interest for researchers exploring cellular mechanisms underlying diseases. The investigation of CLTCL1 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of this protein, which may shed light on its specific roles in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and potential interactions with other cellular components. Understanding the biophysical properties and interactions of CLTCL1 can provide deeper insights into its contributions to cellular homeostasis and its potential role as a therapeutic target in relevant pathologies, including those affecting the nervous system. This research is further underscored by the need to explore how alterations in CLTCL1 function could correlate with disease states, thereby paving the way for new therapeutic strategies targeting endocytic pathways.
