Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKCG, or Protein Kinase C Gamma, is a member of the protein kinase C family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes including signal transduction, cell growth, and differentiation. It is primarily expressed in the brain and is implicated in neurotransmission and neuroprotection. Research on PRKCG has gained attention due to its potential involvement in neurological disorders such as schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease, and epilepsy. The dysregulation of PRKCG activity has been linked to impaired synaptic function and neurodegeneration. Consequently, understanding PRKCG's structure and function through recombinant protein studies is vital for elucidating its role in health and disease. The development of PRKCG recombinant proteins allows researchers to explore its enzymatic activity, substrate interactions, and regulatory mechanisms in detail. Additionally, this research can provide insights into how PRKCG might serve as a therapeutic target for treating mental health conditions and neurodegenerative diseases. Furthermore, the generation of PRKCG-specific inhibitors or modulators could offer novel strategies for drug development, emphasizing the importance of this research in the context of neurological health. Overall, the study of PRKCG recombinant proteins not only contributes to our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also paves the way for potential clinical applications in managing brain disorders.
