Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CD44 is a multifunctional cell surface glycoprotein involved in cell adhesion, migration, and signaling, making it crucial for various physiological processes, including immune response, tissue repair, and tumor progression. The study of CD44 recombinant protein is important due to its role in cancer biology, particularly as it is frequently overexpressed in various malignant tumors and is associated with metastasis and poor prognosis. Researchers have focused on generating recombinant CD44 proteins to better understand its structural and functional properties, as well as its interaction with ligands such as hyaluronic acid. Advanced techniques, including molecular cloning and recombinant DNA technology, allow for the production of biologically active CD44 fragments, enabling in vitro and in vivo studies. These studies aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which CD44 contributes to tumor cell behaviors such as proliferation, invasion, and immune evasion. Furthermore, understanding CD44’s role in the tumor microenvironment could lead to novel therapeutic strategies, including the development of CD44-targeted therapies or diagnostic tools for cancer detection. Overall, the investigation of CD44 recombinant proteins is a critical component in advancing cancer research and developing better treatment modalities.
