Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYS4 is a protein that plays a crucial role in various biological processes, particularly in cellular responses to environmental stressors. Originally identified in yeast, the CYS4 gene encodes for a enzyme involved in the synthesis of cysteine, an essential amino acid that serves not only as a building block for proteins but also as a precursor for several important biomolecules, including glutathione, a key antioxidant. The study of CYS4 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. Research has shown that manipulating CYS4 expression can enhance plant tolerance to heavy metals and other stresses, making it a target for genetic engineering in crops. Additionally, understanding the structure and function of CYS4 can provide insights into its role in redox homeostasis and its interactions with other cellular pathways. Furthermore, leveraging recombinant CYS4 in therapeutic contexts has implications for developing treatments for diseases related to oxidative stress and amino acid metabolism disorders. As such, ongoing research aims to elucidate the mechanistic details of CYS4 function and explore its utility in various biotechnological applications, highlighting its importance in both fundamental biology and practical uses in agriculture and medicine.
