Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKCA, or Protein Kinase C Alpha, is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, which plays a critical role in various cellular processes including signal transduction, cell proliferation, and differentiation. The research on PRKCA recombinant proteins has gained significant importance due to its association with several physiological and pathological conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. As a serine/threonine kinase, PRKCA modulates numerous signaling pathways, making it a potential therapeutic target for drug development. The ability to produce recombinant PRKCA in laboratory settings allows scientists to study its enzymatic activity, interaction with substrates, and modulations by various phospholipids and diacylglycerols. Understanding the structural and functional dynamics of PRKCA can provide insights into its regulatory mechanisms and uncover new avenues for pharmacological interventions. The development of PRKCA recombinant proteins not only facilitates biochemical assays but also aids in the evaluation of small molecules or peptides that could act as modulators of its activity. Through these studies, researchers aim to elucidate the role of PRKCA in cellular signaling pathways and its contributions to disease states, thereby paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies.
