Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKAR1A is a critical gene that encodes the regulatory subunit type 1-alpha of protein kinase A (PKA), which plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including metabolism, cell proliferation, and differentiation. Mutations in the PRKAR1A gene have been linked to various human diseases, particularly those associated with dysregulated growth signaling, such as Carney complex, a familial syndrome characterized by neoplasms, lentigines, and endocrine disorders. The study of PRKAR1A recombinant proteins has gained considerable attention as researchers aim to understand its functional implications in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in tumorigenesis and endocrine function. Successful recombinant expression of PRKAR1A allows for detailed investigation of its structural properties and interactions with other proteins involved in cAMP signaling. These studies are essential for elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which PRKAR1A mutations contribute to oncogenesis and other pathological conditions. Additionally, the development of PRKAR1A-based therapeutic strategies holds promise for innovative treatments for related disorders. Understanding this protein's role and functionality could offer pivotal insights for targeted therapies and personalized medicine approaches in handling diseases associated with PRKAR1A dysregulation. As researchers continue to delve into the complexities of PKA signaling pathways, the significance of PRKAR1A in both normal physiology and disease states remains a focal point of biomedical research.
