Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRCC (Proline-Rich Coiled-Coil 2) is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and signaling pathways. Its role is particularly significant in cancer biology, where aberrant expression levels of PRCC have been correlated with tumor progression and metastasis. The study of PRCC has gained attention due to its involvement in the chromosomal translocation associated with renal cell carcinoma, leading to the formation of a fusion protein that alters normal cellular functions. Recent research has focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms by which PRCC interacts with other proteins and its influence on gene expression. The characterization of PRCC as a therapeutic target is also emerging, with studies investigating the potential for developing targeted therapies that could disrupt the oncogenic pathways mediated by PRCC. Furthermore, advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of PRCC for biochemical and structural studies, providing insights into its functional domains and interactions at a molecular level. This foundational research is critical not only for unraveling the complex roles of PRCC in health and disease but also for the development of innovative therapeutic strategies to combat cancers associated with PRCC dysregulation. Overall, the exploration of PRCC as a biomarker and a target for therapeutic intervention represents a promising frontier in cancer research.
