Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APEH (Acylpeptide Hydrolase) is an enzyme that plays a significant role in the metabolism of acylated peptides, impacting various physiological processes including protein degradation and nutrient utilization. Research on APEH has gained interest due to its potential implications in various diseases, including metabolic disorders and cancer, where dysregulation of peptide metabolism can occur. The enzyme's ability to hydrolyze peptide bonds, specifically those involving acyl groups, positions it as a critical factor in the post-translational modification of proteins. Moreover, the understanding of APEH's structure-function relationship can provide insights into enzyme specificity and its interaction with substrates, potentially unveiling novel therapeutic targets. The study of APEH also intersects with topics such as aging and inflammation, as altered acylation patterns have been associated with age-related decline in metabolic functions. Overall, research into APEH’s biological significance and mechanisms of action opens new avenues for understanding fundamental biochemical pathways and developing innovative strategies for disease intervention.
