Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPWD1 (Prolyl 4-hydroxylase domain-containing protein 1) is a member of the prolyl hydroxylase family, which plays a crucial role in collagen synthesis and post-translational modifications through hydroxylation of proline residues. Research into PPWD1 has garnered interest due to its potential involvement in various biological processes, including cellular response to hypoxia, extracellular matrix remodeling, and fibroblast proliferation. Dysregulation of PPWD1 has been linked to several pathologies, such as fibrotic diseases and cancer, making it a candidate for therapeutic targeting. Studies have shown that PPWD1 is upregulated under hypoxic conditions, suggesting its role in adapting cellular responses to low oxygen levels. Moreover, understanding the structure and functional mechanisms of PPWD1 could provide insights into its interactions with other proteins and regulatory pathways. The recombinant expression of PPWD1 allows for detailed investigations into its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and physiological roles. This research not only enhances our comprehension of prolyl hydroxylases but also opens avenues for potential applications in regenerative medicine and the treatment of fibrotic conditions, emphasizing the significance of PPWD1 as a focus for future studies in protein engineering and molecular biology.
