Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that plays a crucial role in the immune response and inflammation. It is produced primarily by activated macrophages and has been implicated in various pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders, and infectious diseases. The study of recombinant IL-1β proteins has garnered significant interest due to their potential therapeutic applications and role in understanding disease mechanisms. Recombinant IL-1β can be utilized to investigate cellular signaling pathways, immune responses, and the impacts of inflammation on disease progression. Additionally, it serves as a valuable tool for developing anti-inflammatory therapies, as blocking IL-1β activity could alleviate symptoms in numerous inflammatory diseases. The development of advanced techniques for producing and purifying recombinant IL-1β has enabled researchers to conduct detailed studies on its biological functions, leading to insights into novel therapeutic approaches and the development of IL-1β inhibitors. Furthermore, the exploration of IL-1β as a biomarker for various diseases highlights its importance in clinical diagnostics and treatment monitoring. Understanding the multifaceted roles of IL-1β through recombinant proteins not only enhances our comprehension of immune regulation but also opens new avenues for targeted treatments in chronic inflammatory diseases and conditions where IL-1β is a key player.
