Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Immt, or mitochondrial integral membrane protein, has garnered significant attention in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry due to its critical role in mitochondrial function and its implications in various diseases. Mitochondria are essential organelles responsible for energy production, and their dysfunction is linked to a range of conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, and aging. The study of Immt and its restructured protein forms focuses on understanding its structure-function relationships and interactions with other mitochondrial components. Researchers are particularly interested in the molecular mechanisms through which Immt influences mitochondrial dynamics, such as biogenesis, fusion, and fission, as well as its involvement in apoptosis and cellular metabolism. Recent advances in techniques like cryo-electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography have enabled scientists to gain insights into the complex architecture of Immt, enhancing our understanding of its physiological roles. Additionally, by exploring potential therapeutic strategies targeting Immt, researchers hope to develop innovative treatments for mitochondrial-related diseases, highlighting the protein's significance in both fundamental research and clinical applications.
