Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G12A, a member of the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) family, has gained attention in recent years due to its potential role in various physiological and pathological processes. This enzyme is involved in the hydrolysis of phospholipids, leading to the production of bioactive lipids that can influence cell signaling, inflammation, and membrane dynamics. Research indicates that PLA2G12A may contribute to the progression of certain diseases, including cancer and cardiovascular conditions, by modulating inflammatory responses and altering cell behavior. The development of recombinant PLA2G12A protein allows for detailed functional studies and the exploration of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. These studies are crucial for understanding the biological significance of PLA2G12A and its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, the production of this protein facilitates high-throughput drug screening and the investigation of novel inhibitors, which could pave the way for new treatment strategies. Given the enzyme's involvement in critical biological processes, ongoing research aims to elucidate its precise roles in health and disease, ultimately contributing to advancements in biomedical science and therapeutic interventions.
