Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAI3 (Brain-specific Angiogenesis Inhibitor 3) is a member of the BAI family of proteins, which are known for their roles in regulating cellular processes such as angiogenesis, cell adhesion, and neuronal development. Research on BAI3 has gained traction due to its unique expression patterns in the brain and its potential involvement in various neurological disorders. Unlike other BAI proteins, BAI3 has been implicated in the modulation of synaptic transmission and plasticity, making it a candidate for understanding the mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental conditions and neurodegenerative diseases. Furthermore, studies have shown that BAI3 may interact with various signaling pathways, influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. Given its brain-specific expression and diverse functional roles, the investigation of BAI3 as a recombinantly expressed protein aims to elucidate its structure-function relationships and further explore its therapeutic potential. The recombinant production of BAI3 facilitates detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses, which are essential for uncovering its mechanism of action, identifying potential binding partners, and assessing its role in disease contexts. Thus, the ongoing research on the recombinant BAI3 protein not only enhances our understanding of brain biology but also opens avenues for the development of targeted interventions in related pathologies.
