  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

HIGD1A, or HIG1 domain family member 1A, is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, including mitochondrial dynamics and stress responses. Research on HIGD1A has gained momentum due to its potential role in regulating cell survival under hypoxic conditions, suggesting its involvement in tumor biology and neurodegenerative diseases. The mechanism of HIGD1A function remains not entirely understood, prompting investigations into its structural and functional characteristics. Recombinant HIGD1A protein production allows for detailed studies of its biochemical properties and interactions, facilitating the exploration of its potential as a therapeutic target. Using recombinant techniques, researchers can produce large quantities of pure HIGD1A, enabling assays to assess its roles in cell metabolism and signaling pathways. This research is critical for elucidating how HIGD1A contributes to cellular homeostasis and its implications in disease states, ultimately aiming to identify novel strategies for intervention in pathologies where HIGD1A is implicated.
