Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) family plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including growth, proliferation, and survival. Among its isoforms, PI3K-related kinase 6 (PIK3R6) has garnered attention due to its unique regulatory functions and potential implications in disease mechanisms, especially in cancer and metabolic disorders. Unlike other PI3K regulatory subunits, PIK3R6 interacts with specific lipid environments and is involved in distinct downstream signaling pathways. Its role in modulating the activity of the class IA PI3K complexes has made PIK3R6 a focal point for understanding the intricate balance of cell signaling in pathological conditions. Research into recombinant PIK3R6 proteins aims to elucidate its structure, functionality, and interactions at the molecular level, providing insights into how aberrations in its signaling can lead to disease. Furthermore, studying the recombinant forms of PIK3R6 can aid in the development of targeted therapeutics, contributing to innovative treatment strategies for various diseases linked to PI3K deregulation. As such, the exploration of PIK3R6 recombinant proteins not only enhances our comprehension of PI3K signaling networks but also holds promise for translational applications in precision medicine.
