Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PFAAP5, or P30 protein from Plasmodium falciparum, is a unique protein associated with the malaria parasite, particularly involved in the development and maintenance of the parasitic lifecycle within the host. The increasing global burden of malaria, primarily caused by Plasmodium falciparum, has spurred significant research into the molecular mechanisms underpinning parasite survival and virulence. As a critical component of the parasite's reproductive process, PFAAP5 plays a role in the formation of sexual stages, which are essential for transmission between hosts. Understanding the structure and function of PFAAP5 could provide valuable insights into the biology of P. falciparum and identify potential targets for novel therapeutic interventions. Studies involving recombinant PFAAP5 have allowed researchers to elucidate its function, investigate its interactions with host immune responses, and assess its potential as a vaccine candidate. Furthermore, by exploring the protein's role in gametocyte development, scientists aim to uncover the intricate relationship between the parasite and the host, which may lead to innovative strategies to combat malaria transmission, ultimately aiding in the global effort to eradicate this devastating disease.
