Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a hereditary heart disorder characterized by fatty replacement of cardiac myocytes, predominantly affecting the right ventricle and leading to arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. The condition is often linked to mutations in genes encoding desmosomal proteins, which are crucial for cell-cell adhesion in cardiac tissue. Research into ARVCF (arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy gene, also known as desmoplakin), a key component of desmosomes, has gained momentum due to its implications in disease pathology. Understanding ARVCF at a molecular level, particularly through the production of recombinant ARVCF proteins, is essential for elucidating the mechanisms by which these mutations contribute to the disruption of cardiac architecture and function. Studies have shown that altered expression or function of ARVCF can compromise the integrity of cardiac tissue, highlighting its role in the pathogenesis of ARVC. The development of recombinant ARVCF proteins for functional assays and structural analysis provides invaluable insights into the protein’s interactions and stability under physiological and pathological conditions. This research not only enhances our comprehension of the molecular underpinnings of ARVC but also aids in the identification of potential therapeutic targets and strategies for managing this life-threatening cardiomyopathy.
