Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATP2B4, also known as plasma membrane calcium-transporting ATPase 4, plays a crucial role in maintaining calcium homeostasis in various cell types by extruding calcium ions from the cytoplasm to the extracellular space. This is essential for numerous physiological processes, including muscle contraction, neuronal signaling, and hormone secretion. Alterations in ATP2B4 expression or function have been implicated in several pathological conditions, such as cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer progression. Due to its significance, understanding the structure and function of ATP2B4 has become a focal point in cellular physiology and pharmacology. Recent advances in recombinant protein expression techniques have enabled the production of ATP2B4 in heterologous systems, which allows for in-depth characterization of its enzymatic properties and regulation. Such studies are critical for identifying potential therapeutic targets and developing drugs that modulate ATP2B4 activity. Additionally, the generation of ATP2B4 recombinant proteins offers opportunities for structural studies, including crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy, facilitating the exploration of its mechanisms at the molecular level. Overall, the research on ATP2B4 recombinant proteins presents significant implications for understanding calcium dynamics in health and disease, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
