Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDH7 (Protocadherin 7) is a member of the protocadherin family, which plays a crucial role in mediating cell-cell adhesion and signaling in various biological processes, including neuronal development and immune responses. Research on PCDH7 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in cancer biology, where aberrant expression of cadherins is often associated with tumor progression and metastasis. Studies have shown that PCDH7 can influence cell migration and stability of epithelial layers, indicating its importance in tissue integrity and homeostasis. Additionally, PCDH7 is involved in various signaling pathways, including those related to the regulation of cell differentiation and survival. However, the specific mechanisms by which PCDH7 exerts its functions remain largely uncharacterized. Recombinant protein studies have been initiated to elucidate its structural properties and functional roles, providing insights into its interaction with other proteins and the extracellular matrix. Understanding the role of PCDH7 in both normal physiology and pathological conditions could unveil new therapeutic targets and strategies for diseases associated with cadherin dysfunction, such as cancer and neurological disorders. Therefore, research on recombinant PCDH7 protein is crucial for advancing our knowledge of its biological significance and potential clinical applications.
